Can a gel-cell battery dead from being idle/not used and not charged be reactivated? Won't charge normally.
GEL U1 Battery Set - 12V 32AH
I have a power wheelchair previously used by my now deceased wife. I tried to keep the battery charged, but forgot for a period of time and it totally discharged. It will not take a charge now. Can it be reactivated and charged? If so, how do you do it?

It really depends on the age of the battery and how long it was left sitting. If it's been sitting for over a year and the set of batteries are already a few years old then its time to replace the battery. If the batteries are newer and were left sitting for less than a year then it's worth a shot at bringing them back. Reach out to us at orders@techbatterysolutions.com and we can walk you through a few options to try and bring them back.
