How do you determine the draw/amount that will outpace the charger? e.g. how much draw would be too much?

The draw isn't as important, but the charger will go into error if it isn't able to bring the battery to a full charge in a certain amount of time for any reason - a load on the battery, issue with the battery preventing it from accepting or holding a charge, etc. For the GENIUS10, that's 41-hours. That being said, a load larger than 10A on the battery means the 10A charger will not be able to keep up and the battery will still deplete despite having the charger on it.
