The LED light on the charger is the only thing that needs to be lit up in order to show the charge status of the battery. The LED light on the scooter is to indicate that the scooter is powered on and ready to ride.
Is there a light that should be on the scooter when charging or is it okay just to have the light on charger? Razor E300 Charger
