Will this reduce charge down to 0 Amps.. once the batt. is fully charged- 1957 12 volt -no computer- show car-Etc.

the car is only driven one a month at most... i don't want to fry the battery as the Maintainer would be hooked via quick disconnect for permanent battery maintaining when parked - Standard Batt. no on board draws from a computer or radio etc.. i just want a full battery when ever i go out to start it up for either a drive / Car show or basic warm up etc.. Thank you -

This charger will essentially shut down the charge going to the battery and strictly go into a voltage maintenance mode. Once the battery drifts below the fully charged threshold the charger will engage into its charge mode once again. This unit is designed to be left on a battery indefinitely without overcharging.
