No, the NOCO GENIUS10 unit is strictly a battery charger that must be plugged into a wall outlet in order to work. That being said, if you had a battery at very low voltage or even zero volts the charger does have a setting called force mode that will push a charge into the battery for 5 minutes in order to raise the voltage high enough for the standard charge mode to kick in. So in short the GENIUS10 is not a car jump starter - but it can bring a flat lined battery back from the dead with some time.
