for a battery with start stop which charge mode is better to use normal 12v or 12v AGM?

It all depends on the battery chemistry. For most of the vehicles equip with start stop technology auto manufacturers are putting in AGM batteries, but I do recommend conforming your battery chemistry prior to charging.
