I have a 5th wheel RV with 4 12v batteries on board wired together into the unit, would this be good to use.

If the batteries are wired in parallel to create one large 12V battery bank then this would not be an idea charger to use. If the batteries are wired up in series then the charger will be able to properly isolate the batteries and charge them accordingly.
