I honestly have no idea on how the battery would perform in a starting application over time as all the data we have is related to energy storage and emergency power generation. I know that the charging system of your truck will shorten the lifespan of the battery and exposing it to heat grater than 75 degrees on a consistent basis will also help shorten that lifespan.
I think if your in a pinch it could work for a bit - I would not think of it as a solid long term solution.
