eWheels EW-52, EW-84 Battery Replacement Kit
Took batteries out of unit for winter. Stored in heated basement on board. Placed back out in unit, spring. Placed on charger, red light was on for minute. Switched to green on charger. Tried to take it for ride, turned hand control, no power what ever. Almost died. No acceleration, nothing! ?? Batteries are only 2yrs old. Can the batteries go to Heck that quick? R/S, Confused.

It sound like the battery pack did not take a charge at all if the red light switched to green in only a few minutes. I suggest getting your hands on a voltage meter and checking the voltage of each battery to see what the true state of charge is. Once you have an idea on the charge level of the batteries then you can determine if the charger is not charging properly or if they are so low in voltage that the charger is not recognizing that its connected to the batteries.
