The batteries are located inside of a battery box at the base of the scooter. The overall installation on these is very straightforward and on the easier side when compared to other models in this line. You would have to pull the battery pack off of the chair, remove the cover and replace the two batteries within. The tools required are a Philips head xxxx driver to open the case, and a ratchet set to loosen and tighten the battery terminal connections.
