The issue with the scooter slowing on hills has to do with a combination of the maximum power output of the batteries and the capabilities of the motors in the scooter to perform the task. The batteries in our eWheels kits are not only deep cycle capable but also a high-rate discharge design. This means that they will put out the a ton of power on demand and very quickly versus a standard deep cycle battery that is limited in its power output to conserve run-time.
