Most Mazda Miata batteries die from one of two scenarios - either from sitting and not being maintained while the vehicle is in storage, or a parasitic drain. I recommend putting the battery on a good slow charge at 2A or less for 24 hours to see if you can bring it back. Its a very new battery, I would expect that to bounce back depending on how low the voltage was dropped on it.
