Dual Pro Eagle Performance i4818CH - 48V 18Ah Charger
charger does nothing plugged into 110volts No lights or sound of the transformer. Does it need to be plugged into the cart to make the transformer and lights work on the charger? Or is there something wrong with it.

Yes, in order for the charger to engage it must be plugged into the cart itself. Don't be alarmed if you don't see any indicators lit up on the charger when it's plugged into the AC outlet alone. This is standard for Pro Charging systems across all of their models.
