Unfortunately not. This battery will not have the proprietary chip required in order to get past that new firmware update.
Is this compatible with the Phantom 2 that has upgraded software? DJI - Phantom 2 and Phantom 2 Vision Battery Replacements
DJI provided a software upgrade that recognizes the proprietary chip installed on original DJI batteries. The software prevents full functionality on 3rd party batteries. Does your battery have the necessary software imbedded required for full functionality on Phantom 2 drones that have had a software upgrade?
