Yes, you can use the GC003 connector to charge the battery through the auxiliary port in the vehicle. Doing this would allow you to not have to connect directly to the battery. This is especially useful for vehicles where it's very difficult to get to the battery. It's underneath the seat, it's buried in the engine bay, or it's in the trunk.
